Eastsoft does not run a model-inference service. We do not see, store, or train on your prompts. The only personal information we hold is what you actively send us — typically an email address when you contact us — and we use it only to reply.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Eastsoft Inc. ("Eastsoft," "we," "us"), a corporation organized under the laws of Canada, and to the websites and services we operate, including eastsoft.com, ilang.ai, ilang.cn, i.ilang.ai, and research.ilang.ai (together, the "Services").

It does not apply to third-party services you may use alongside ours, including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, Alibaba, Zhipu AI, GitHub, or Hugging Face. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Contact information — your name, email address, and the contents of any message you send to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected].
• Application materials — résumés, portfolios, and supporting documents submitted through open applications.
• Vulnerability reports — details you choose to share when responsibly disclosing a security issue.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Server logs — IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, request path, and timestamp. Retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention and operational debugging.
• Aggregate analytics — anonymized, page-level traffic counts (no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking).

2.3 Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, store, log, intercept, or transmit prompts, completions, or any content you send to a large language model. The I-Lang Protocol is a text grammar — it activates entirely inside the model you chose, not on our servers.
• We do not operate advertising networks or sell data to data brokers.
• We do not use third-party session-replay tools.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

1. respond to messages and inquiries you send us;
2. evaluate open applications you submit;
3. investigate security reports and notify affected parties;
4. operate, debug, and protect the Services from abuse;
5. comply with applicable law and lawful requests.

We do not use your information to train machine-learning models, profile you for advertising, or sell to third parties.

4. Sharing & disclosure

Eastsoft does not sell personal information. We disclose information only:

• to service providers bound by written confidentiality and data-processing terms (e.g. our email host, error-monitoring tooling);
• when required by law — court order, subpoena, or other lawful process — and only to the extent legally required;
• in connection with a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale), in which case we will provide notice;
• with your explicit consent, for any purpose not listed above.

5. Cookies & analytics

Our marketing website uses no cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. We use a single first-party preference cookie to remember your choice of theme on subdomains that support one. Aggregate analytics are computed server-side from anonymized log data; we do not deploy Google Analytics or comparable third-party trackers on Eastsoft properties.

6. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, then delete or anonymize it. Specifically:

• email correspondence — up to 24 months;
• open applications — up to 12 months unless you ask us to keep them longer;
• server logs — up to 30 days;
• vulnerability reports — kept while the issue is open, then archived for audit.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete information ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• port your information to another service;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

8. International transfers

Eastsoft is headquartered in Canada. If you write to us from outside Canada, your message may be processed on servers located in Canada or in jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required by law (notably the GDPR), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

9. Children

The Services are intended for adults and developers, and are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email to addresses we have on file. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Older versions are archived on request.
